About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Omnichannel Team at Alzheimer’s Society. It’s an ideal time to join the team as we take our supporter communications to the next level, combining audience insight with real-time behavioural insights to deliver a personalised communications and journeys and an exceptional supporter experience.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in helping us achieve this, combining data sources, developing dashboards and delivering reports as required to give us real-time insight into our supporter experience. They will proactively dive into the data, identifying opportunities and working with colleagues in the omnichannel team and stakeholders across the business to deliver these improvements across post, phone, email and SMS communications. They will lead on our testing approach, ensuring identified testing priorities are delivered in a coordinated way across audiences, products and channels to result in actionable insights and recommendations to take forward.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a digital marketing expert to join the Digital Engagement Team at Alzheimer’s Society. Now is an exciting time to join the team as we look to use insight to drive and develop our communications with supporters and improve the supporter experience. The successful candidate will play an integral role in helping us achieve this alongside exploring new and improved ways of delivering our stewardship, email automations and SMS campaigns.
With your experience of email marketing and engagement, you will play a key role in the designing, building, testing and delivery of email and SMS campaigns to the teams within Income & Engagement, to help support their marketing campaigns and appeals to our warm supporters.
You will:
Establish the ideal process and tools to meet Income & Engagement’s warm marketing and communication reporting requirements. Develop and maintain insight packs, bringing together insight from our Audience & Supporter Insight teams with recent performance data, to support cross-channel & product audience journey planning
1. Work closely with internal stakeholders to plan, build, quality assure and report on email campaigns and email automations
2. Use your knowledge and expertise to deliver SMS campaigns through dotdigital and Cymba, our primary SMS messaging tool.
3. Provide training for teams on our email service provider (dotdigital).
4. Embed email marketing skills and best practice across the organisation.
5. Actively use reporting, analysis and insight to help departments develop and optimise campaigns.
6. Support colleagues to test hypotheses and continuously innovate.
7. Be a trusted expert and a critical friend to our fundraising teams and other colleagues.
8. Play a crucial role in deepening understanding of Alzheimer’s Society’s supporters.
9. Drive loyalty and sustainable growth across Alzheimer’s Society’s audiences.
About you

10. Possess a broad mix of digital marketing knowledge and expertise.
11. Feel at home using large data sets in an Email Service Provider tool (dotdigital experience is an advantage but training can be given).
