CATCH Recovery is offering an exciting opportunity to join our addictions therapy team. We are looking to recruit experienced addiction psychotherapists to provide in-person therapy at our Edinburgh location. This is an opportunity to work with the world-renowned Castle Craig Hospital family as a part of our outpatient centre, CATCH Recovery. This role requires supporting our patients transitioning back home from one of our residential facilities in Scotland or Ireland through weekly addiction therapy sessions, as well as patients attending outpatient treatment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver comprehensive addiction therapy services, including:
o Continuing care for patients transitioning from residential treatment
o Outpatient addiction treatment therapy
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records
o Provide weekly progress reports on patients to the CATCH management team
o Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in addiction therapy
* Current accreditation with a recognised professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP, COSCA)
* Demonstrated proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities, including:
o 12-step facilitation
o Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
o Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
o Mindfulness-based approaches
* Substantial experience providing psychotherapy in addiction treatment settings
* Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly KIPU
* Valid liability insurance
* Additional qualifications or extensive experience in specialised areas such as:
o Group Therapy
o Trauma-informed Therapy
o Family Therapy
o Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Castle Craig is a world-renowned residential rehab clinic that treats people suffering from addictions, many of whom have other complex conditions, such as gambling and gaming addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and eating disorders. It has locations in Scotland, Ireland, Holland and Sweden. It prides itself on an ethos which puts the patient and their family first and nurtures its staff.
CATCH Recovery is Castle Craig’s outpatient assessment, therapy and aftercare service for those with addictions or who are already in recovery. Based in South Kensington, the experienced team offers addiction assessments, outpatient rehab therapy, online therapy, residential rehab referral, interventions, as well as continuing care after residential stays.
SALARY
We offer competitive compensation to attract and retain top talent in the field of addiction therapy. This is a contract position with compensation based on client hours billed.

Please note that as a part-time position, this role does not include additional benefits. We do not guarantee any specific number of client hours, and no retainer is paid for this role. Hours and compensation are solely based on the actual client sessions conducted.
