This is a key role that will be responsible for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business whilst ensuring full FCA compliance in all aspects of commercial insurance. Our Account Handlers ensure a high-quality service is provided to all clients in accordance with their specific needs and requirements.Key areas of responsibility includeEnsuring accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer and conducting high quality work in relation to; New Business, Renewals, Mid-term adjustments, Claims, Queries, Premium Finance Arrangements, and Issuing Cover NotesEnsuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation and company procedures as detailed in the Conduct Polices and Guides to Best PracticeAlways promoting exceptional customer care standardsDeveloping and maintaining a professional working relationship with all clients and providing expert product advice and guidanceActively securing renewal business by re-broking existing business to ensure the client is presented with the most suitable and cost-effective coverPromoting and increasing the use of in-house premium finance, from insurer schemesSupporting our Account Executives with duties where requiredWhat we’re looking forTo be successful in this role, you must have the following skillsPrevious experience in an Account Handler role within a broker environmentWorking knowledge of most commercial insurance productsExperience of working to high standards of FCA complianceI.T. skills including use of an insurance IT system, ideally ActurisStrong organisation skillsThe ability to work to a high level of accuracyExemplary customer service skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and insurersRegulatory and compliance awarenessWillingness to work towards Cert CII or already hold qualificationsWhat we offerHighly competitive salary commensurate with level of experienceFree parkingCompany Pension schemeGenerous holiday entitlement, including birthday day off & purchase optionsBupa Healthcare Cash PlanLife AssuranceGymflexElectric vehicle salary sacrifice schemeSchedule:Monday to Friday 9am -5pmWork Location: In person
