The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Religious Education lessons to students aged 11-16, contributing to the development of the RE curriculum, and inspiring students to explore and understand the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging RE lessons.
2. Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students.
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Participate in departmental and school-wide activities and initiatives.
5. Support the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Requirements:
1. A fully qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in Religious Studies or a related subject.
2. Experience teaching RE at the secondary level.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Studies.
4. Excellent classroom management skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
6. Commitment to continuous professional development.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
