EPI is dedicated to sustainability and is known for its local and global partnerships. About the Role: The role is primarily responsible for generating leads related to new and existing clients. As Renewable Energy Sales Manager you will lead the growing footprint of EPI Group across the renewables energy industry, responsible for delivering revenue generation in the European and Americas region. Initially the focus will be the offshore wind market, but over time this will expand to include a range of renewable and low-carbon energy technologies. Our current renewables business is primarily securing contracts for the supply of environmental personnel (MMO/PSO/PAM), geotechnical and geophysical (G&G) offshore client representatives, and site investigation project management. Secondary services include UXO risk mitigation, HSE consulting services, and recruitment of qualified personnel for projects. Responsibilities: Key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following: Represent EPI in a manner that aligns to the core integrity of the business by working in a compliant, honest and ethical manner, showing respect to all those with whom you work both peers and clients. Drive regional sales that meet the company’s commercial objectives for profit and margin. Create and maintain a sales and business development strategy by which EPI’s offshore renewable services can be successfully sold into the European and Americas offshore energy market. Develop/expand long-term client relationships and implement a structured approach to account management for the region. Use own knowledge of the market to educate and mentor other EPI employees. Work in partnership with EPI’s clients to create value through service excellence. Develop and maintain close relationships with clients and partners to promote EPI’s services. Assist in the development of proposals and provide advice and intelligence that will help EPI create a winning proposal. Register the company on portals and vending sites of future clients as requested. Ensure that the CRM and PSA systems are kept up-to-date and key regional management reporting data for sales is available in a timely fashion with regional variances to norm identified and explained. Sales & Marketing: The successful candidate will be capable of; Building sources of market intelligence to focus sales efforts. Actively engage with potential clients via meetings, telephone calls, and email to inform them of EPI’s services and the Company’s positive track record. Attend relevant trade shows with a focus on environmental and offshore wind services. Could you help develop relevant sales and marketing materials consistent with the EPI brand? Scout and review new business opportunities with potential partner companies. Feedback ideas for new products and markets, using ideas gained from clients and consultant feedback. Support wider company marketing (news articles, blogs etc.), internal/external communications and internal training programs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in environmental / ocean sciences, engineering, renewable energy technology or related discipline, else demonstrable capabilities at this level. Ideally experience in the offshore energy business (geoscience/environmental surveying, permitting, project development, construction, asset management, etc.). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Proficiency with standard industry software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office suite).
