Job Description
As a Sr. Specialist on the Insights & Analytics Team this individual will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success Management, Business Intelligence, and Product in order to enable our merchant-facing teams to deliver data-driven decision making and actionable insights in support of our Merchant business goals and reinforcing value of Checkout's products in order to drive adoption of our technology. Specifically:
1. Responsible for producing the analytics tools, frameworks, and supporting collateral in order to enable our Commercial team in delivering data-driven and actionable insights to our Merchants.
2. Working in close partnership with the RevOps and Business Intelligence Teams to design, deploy, and drive adoption of commercial data toolkit that power our value Business Value models, Benchmarking tools, and Customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
3. Partnering with leaders in our CSM organization to standardize and train on internal tools and frameworks that will help our teams manage their Merchant books and compile accurate payment performance forecasts for internal planning.
4. Providing recommendations to our Analytics Product management team on the ideal set of insights and features required to enable Merchants in analyzing their payment performance data in the platform.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment. Knowledge of Payment Performance metrics is preferred.
3. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, manipulation, visualization, and crafting compelling presentations.
4. Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
5. Experience with data modeling, forecasting, and regression analysis.
6. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
