Your new company is a Regional Main Contractor seeking a Document Controller to join the team on a large scheme in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity. This is a fixed term contract role, with a minimum of 18 months worth of work on the project.
Your new role
* Manage and control all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Ensure all documents are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with company standards and project requirements.
* Maintain document control systems and processes, ensuring efficient retrieval and storage of documents.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely distribution of documents.
* Track and monitor document revisions and approvals.
* Provide training and support to team members on document control procedures.
* Assist in the preparation of project documentation for audits and inspections.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry.
* Must have experience using ViewPoint.
* Main Contractor working history.
* Strong knowledge of document control processes and systems.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
