We are looking for a dedicated Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping department at one of London’s leading luxury boutique hotels.
This Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that this stylish hotel continues to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Housekeeping team, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
* Ensure all housekeeping operations meet and exceed Forbes quality standards to provide an exceptional guest experience.
* Managing the outsourced housekeeping services and fostering strong relationships with all departments
* Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with luxury hotel standards including training, and monitor adherence.
* Oversee staff schedules, including rota management and coordination with agency staff as necessary.
* Prepare and manage the department's budget, adjusting for occupancy levels and departmental expenses.
* Conduct routine inspections of both occupied and non-occupied rooms, ensuring cleanliness and quality standards are consistently maintained.
* Manage inventory levels, including cleaning materials, linens, staff uniforms, and other supplies, ensuring cost control and timely ordering.
* Ensure all staff adhere to Health & Safety protocols, ensuring the safety and security of both guests and employees.
* Assist with Duty Manager shifts as required, contributing to the overall guest experience.
* Continuously improve your knowledge and that of your team through relevant training and meetings.
* Attend/lead any meetings or training sessions/courses as required.

* Proven experience in a similar Executive Housekeeper or senior management role within a luxury hotel or high-end boutique property.
* Strong understanding of Forbes quality assessments and how to apply them to achieve exceptional standards.
* Experience in managing outsourced housekeeping operations and building positive relationships with external partners.
* Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Expertise in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
* A proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* The ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team, ensuring consistent performance at the highest levels.
