1. Assessing and monitoring patient conditions and arranging diagnostic tests
2. Recognising deterioration in the physical or mental condition of a patient and taking appropriate action / escalation
3. Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
4. Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
5. Recognising limitations and escalating concerns
6. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

Job Title : - Registered Community Nurse
Trust : -Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust
Location :-Torbay Hospital, Totnes community hospital, Brixham community hospital, Newton Abbot community hospital, Teignmouth community hospital, Dawlish community hospital.
Pay Rate: £17-£28 Per Hour
Shift Patterns :- Flexible
About the Trust:
We provide health and social care services to our people in their own homes or in their local community. We also run Torbay Hospital (providing acute hospital services) as well as five community hospitals, stretching from Dawlish to Brixham.
We support around 500,000 face-to-face contacts with patients in their homes and communities each year and see over 78,000 people in our A&E department annually. We serve a resident population of approximately 286,000 people, plus about 100,000 visitors at any one time during the summer holiday season.

What youll need:
12. A car and valid UK driving license
13. A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a community environment within the last 2 years
14. Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices

Essential
24. Statement of NMC Registration
25. Degree /Diploma in Nursing
26. Awareness of current issues in community nursing
27. Clinically up-to-date
28. Knowledge of the principles of manual handling and blood borne disease
Desirable
29. Completion of required Trust mandatory training updates
30. Contribute to own personal development
31. Assist with learning and development activities
Experience
