Main Purpose of Role:
The Van Leasing Consultant is a Sales-based role aimed at managing incoming customer enquiries/leads. The primary responsibility is to respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service and appropriate information regarding their enquiry. This role directly impacts Sales Team performance and, consequently, the success of the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Sales Enquiries/Leads:
Manage customer relationships and ensure a positive first impression. Support customers through their leasing journey and adhere to Select’s 'DRIVE' values.
2. Day-to-day Management:
Respond to new leads and manage existing customers by following the Sales process and best practices. Update all systems accordingly and provide clear information related to customer enquiries.
3. Performance Measures:
Maintain daily tasks and activities, adopting the right behaviours to achieve success.
4. Support:
Assist the Head of Sales and wider management, provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager on performance, and help resolve complaints.
5. Communication:
Ensure clear communication of appropriate information to customers and regular updates to the manager regarding performance.
6. Reporting:
Provide clear reporting on Sales performance to the Sales Manager to ensure Sales targets are met.
7. Relationship Management:
Support the effective management of relationships with key suppliers and partners, and facilitate internal relationship management between teams.
8. Compliance:
Stay updated on Compliance, complete all required training, understand FCA Guidelines, and take accountability. Identify potential business risks and seek proactive resolutions.
9. Health & Safety:
Support the Select Car Leasing Health & Safety Policy and escalate any identified issues to the H&S Manager and/or Directors.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
1. Experience:
Experience in the Van Leasing or Motor industry (desirable), working within a busy Sales Team, familiarity with Sales processes and systems, and Compliance experience (desirable).
2. Skills/Knowledge/Behaviours:
Knowledge of Sales processes, van leasing, and the motor industry; approachable, supportive, assertive, excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
