We are recruiting for a DAYS based electrical bias maintenance engineer, based in Liverpool. Salary 45 plus very attractive additional earning potential. This is a permanent role with a market leader.
Job Summary: Due to a huge workload increase and an on-going plant expansion project, a highly reputable process related organisation in Liverpool is seeking a skilled & experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer on days. The electrical maintenance engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant & facility assets and associated infrastructure.
Typical duties & responsibilities:
1. Provide site EC&I maintenance support on a days basis.
2. Safe isolations of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
3. Overhaul & testing of the site's EC&I equipment.
4. Inspection, testing and service of all site electrical equipment.
5. Fixed wiring defect repair of all site electrical equipment.
6. Fault diagnosis and resolution of EC&I problems across site.
7. Calibration of site instrumentation equipment.
8. Installation & commissioning of minor EC&I projects.
9. Root cause & Continuous Improvement of site assets.
In order to be successful:
1. Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics Engineering).
2. Experience of working within an industrial, continuous process or production facility.
3. Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications.
4. Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities.
5. PLC/ HMI/ SCADA Understanding.
6. CompEX Qualification.
7. Instrumentation experience.
