Year 1 Teacher (Fixed Term) to start in January 2025
Are you a passionate educator with a knack for making learning exciting for young children? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a school in Cambridge on a fixed-term contract.
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll bring the Year 1 curriculum to life, helping children develop essential skills through creative and engaging lessons. Working with a dedicated team, you’ll create a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach lessons that meet curriculum standards and inspire young minds.
* Individualized Learning: Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse abilities and learning styles in the classroom.
* Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, organised learning environment.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff to ensure each child’s needs are met.
* Progress Monitoring: Track and report student progress to parents and the school team.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1.
* Creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment.
* Strong communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork and inclusion.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
