Job Description
What You'll Do:
* Perform fabrication, assembly, and fitting of custom parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards and meeting project deadlines.
* Carry out MIG welding tasks in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
* Operate and maintain a variety of fabrication tools.
* Handle multiple fabrication projects from start to finish, maintaining exceptional quality standards both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
* Proficient in MIG welding mild steel up to 12mm, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
* Skilled in using a range of fabrication machinery.
* Capable of interpreting engineering drawings (3rd angle projection).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent punctuality, and the ability to work independently with a positive attitude.
* Solid knowledge of the fabrication industry, supported by time-served experience.
* Possession of a full driving license.
Not needed but a bonus if they have:
* Experience in TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel.
* Familiarity with operating an Amada CNC press brake.
* Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or extensive time-served background.
* Knowledge of building bespoke, coach-built vehicles.
* Proof of previous welding certifications or qualifications.
