DEPARTMENT: Hotels
REPORTING TO: Revenue Manager
JOB FUNCTION: To manage operations and aid the Revenue Manager by ensuring company procedures are adhered to and that both revenue and customer satisfaction remains a priority.
DIRECT REPORTS: Hotel Administrators
LOCATION: Hotels at Stamford Bridge
CONTRACT: Permanent, 40 hours/ any 5 days of 7
PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):
Assist and manage the day-to-day workflow of correspondence for both individual bookings and groups
Ensure timely and accurate processing of bookings so as to ensure correct availability, guest details, requests, payments and segmentation.
Manage channels to accurately reflect availability and pricing strategy as identified by Revenue Manager.
Ensure credit and no show policies are adhered to.
Monitor and manage allocations and groups to ensure best yielding and use of availability.
Be able and confident to deputise for Revenue Manager.
Ensure rates are loaded correctly and freesales are managed efficiently
Train and recruit new starters to company standards
Occasional duty management

Experience:
Minimum 18 months supervisory experience within a hotel reservations team (min 120 bedrooms).
Previous Duty Management experience
Skills and Behaviours:
Fluent written English
Ability to understand and manage overbooking by house aswell as room type
Confidence with front office operations and credit principles
