The Digital Services Infrastructure Engineer will work as part of our infrastructure teams, supporting the delivery of new infrastructure and improvements to existing infrastructure.
You are likely to have skills in areas that include:
* Network Technologies: Cisco / Aruba / Extreme
* Dell Technology: PowerSwitch / Connectrix / VxRail / Sonicwall
* VMware Technology: NSX, Aria Operations for Network

Person specification
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification or equivalent in a computing related field.
* Technical Accreditation in relevant subject area.
* ITIL Foundation Qualification.
* Project Management Qualification e.g., Prince 2 Foundation.
Previous Experience
* Professional experience in providing technical support for hardware, software, and network environments.
* Experience of managing an enterprise Inventory of equipment.
* Professional experience of Microsoft and VMware hypervisor technology stacks.
* Experience of working within an NHS Digital Services environment.
Evidence of Particular knowledge, skills and aptitudes
* Expert in Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems.
* Knowledge and experience of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP architecture.
* Excellent technical awareness with the ability to systematically fault find on complex systems.
Specific Requirements
* Confident, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
* Methodical approach to work.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work.
* Ability to travel.
* Flexible approach to work outside normal office hours.
