Our school in Harrow is divided into two departments: ASD and PMLD. We are looking for a tenacious Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) who can inspire and lead pupils in both departments, delivering tailored physical education sessions. You will play a key role in supporting the physical development and well-being of pupils with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver differentiated PE lessons suited to the needs of ASD and PMLD pupils, ensuring activities are engaging and inclusive.
Adapt physical activities to meet the diverse physical and cognitive abilities of the pupils.
Work closely with support staff to provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
Lead the physical and motor development of students, promoting health, well-being, and self-confidence.
Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to pupils with ASD and PMLD, fostering positive engagement.
