The role:
The Purchasing Coordinator oversees procurement across the 6 business units in the UK, ensuring cost efficiency, policy compliance, and organisational support. The role fosters skill development and requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and collaboration.
* Procurement: Standardise purchasing, ensure compliance, and oversee requisitions to delivery.
* Suppliers: Select, manage, and ensure contract adherence.
* Compliance: Maintain records, ensure legal adherence, and conduct audits.
* Reporting & Costs: Monitor performance, report insights, and identify savings.
* Collaboration: Work with teams to resolve procurement issues.
* Improvement: Optimise processes and stay updated on market trends.
About you
The ideal candidate would qualify for Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or has at least one year of experience in procurement, preferably in a group-level or multi-location setting.
* Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder and supplier relationships.
* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to analyse data, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.
