Head of Sales
Permanent - Fully remote (UK Based)
On behalf of a fantastic client, we are looking for a Head of Sales/Sales Manager. This is a permanent role and fully remote with client site visits where needed. The client is offering a great basic salary, OTE earnings, and possible share options.
Overview:
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our new sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the SaaS industry, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. A high level of IT skills is also required.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
2. Build, lead, and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team success.
3. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.
4. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
5. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
6. Negotiate and close deals with key clients to drive revenue growth.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred).
2. Proven track record in sales leadership.
3. Deep understanding of the SaaS industry and sales processes.
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
6. Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.
7. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
