An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading healthcare provider at our client's facility in Burgess Hill. With the opening of a new 10-bed male adult PICU ward in September 2023, they are expanding their team and looking for dedicated professionals to help shape the future of their services.
The facility is structured across three specialised units:
1. EA - Male Psychiatric Intensive Care Ward
2. AJ - Male Psychiatric Intensive Care Ward
3. MS - Acute General Adult Male-Only Ward

Our Client's Services:
Their facility provides Acute and PICU services focused on stabilisation and recovery. They offer a range of therapeutic interventions designed to help individuals develop coping strategies within a supportive hospital environment.
Their expertise allows them to manage patients with high levels of risk and challenging behaviours, including those at risk of violence, self-harm, and trauma. They also support individuals requiring stabilisation as they transition from high dependency or acute care, depending on their diagnosis.
Our client's clinical programmes emphasise:
1. Collaborative work with discharge teams to ensure smooth transitions to community services or home, where possible.
2. Restoring and maintaining patients' quality of life through appropriate therapeutic approaches.
3. Building skills to promote independence and facilitating care in the least restrictive settings suitable to patients' health needs.
4. Support for substance misuse and addictions treatment.
Role Requirements:
1. Registered nurse with an active NMC PIN
2. Positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality
3. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches in practice
4. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
