Altro are looking to appoint a Distribution Manager to join our operations team. This role will be based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire and is a permanent, full time, senior role offering a competitive salary and benefits including company funded private medical cover.
The European Distribution Team are responsible for organisation, storage, and distribution of our finished goods. Ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at the best cost. Management of transportation, stock accuracy and control, external warehousing and monitoring the flow of finished goods. This key role will strategically plan and manage this function across our Letchworth and Dessau sites and be responsible for scoping, contributing and executing our long term plans for our European distribution network.

Who are we looking for? Several years experience within logistics and supply chain environment and proven experience of a European, multi-site set up. You will have knowledge of legal compliance, regulations and ISO requirements, capacity planning - translating volume to space and management of export/import operations with transport providers.
