We Are Looking For Individuals Who Have
1. A credible professional policing record of achievement. As Chief Superintendent, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the Force and play a major role in embedding organisational culture and promoting values, ethics and high standards of professional conduct to enable an effective and professional service.
2. You will be adept at establishing working partnerships both locally and nationally, building relationships based on trust and confidence to drive our efforts to reduce harm and risk. An inspirational and focused leader with a mix of operational and strategic thinking, you will be a team player who combines an incisive and decisive approach with a consultative and collaborative mindset.
3. You will lead responses to particularly high-risk and/or cross-Force major events and serious investigations, setting strategic objectives and priorities, assessing and managing threat and risks, directing the deployment of resources to ensure appropriate and effective response in line with legal and Force requirements.
4. With a focus on innovation, you will have the ambition and vision to create a police service capable of meeting its policing commitments now and in the future. Underpinning all of this will be real drive, resilience and a passion to succeed.
