Pertemps are recruiting Collection & Delivery drivers in Edinburgh, to join ParcelForce in their growing business.
About The Role
Youll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. Youll then collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses within your route. We are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond for Parcel Force customers.
Location: 100 Bankhead Crossway North, Sighthill Industrial Estate, EH11 4XX
Shift: Working Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday requirement.
Hours: 9AM - 6PM (due to the nature of the business, flexibility is required).
Hourly Rate: £14.04 per hour basic rate (additional rate for overtime).
Contract: 14th April 2025 - 25th April 2025.
About You
Upbeat and self-motivated, youll be as happy working alone as well as working as part of a team. Youll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
The role requires a physical aspect, so its important that youre able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.
Driving Licence Requirements
A full UK manual driving licence is required (in your current UK address). No more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred. Your licence will need to cover up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B).
