We are recruiting for a People Advisor, for a period of 6 months initially for our client in the non-profit sector. This role is ideally full time on a hybrid basis, based in Manchester offices two days a week.
Reporting into our Head of HR, your responsibilities will include:
1. Manage and own ER cases within your departments, providing structure and guidance and balancing the needs of the individual and the business.
2. Working closely with the People Team to promote best practice and consistency in ER casework.
3. Support absence management within your client group to reduce both short term absenteeism and long-term sickness.
4. Develop and maintain close and trusted working relationships with key stakeholders in designated business areas to deliver strategic and operational objectives.
5. Work to empower our managers to lead autonomously and continuously improve our offering across the entire People function.
6. Proactively implement policies and procedures.
7. Involved with planning and implementing People projects to support organisational and cultural change.
8. Play an active role in recruitment and selection with client groups to raise standards in the quality and retention of hires.
