If so, find out more about our school and how you can make a real difference to young people and be part of a thriving faculty. Music forms a key part of our Performing Arts Faculty and so we are searching for an enthusiastic leader who has a real passion for music, excited by extra-curricular activities, who sees music as a way of bringing students together. Our students are taught in purpose-built music rooms with cutting-edge music technology and are given ample opportunities to get involved in an amazing array of performing arts activities. These include our Christmas concerts, end of year shows, house events and competitions, our creativity, culture and charity week, the school choir, our year 13 charity single and, of course, through weekly music lessons and bespoke lessons with peripatetic music teachers. We are trying our best to be as creative as possible during these challenging times so that much of this continues even if it is through different media. This role would suit a current subject leader or an aspiring subject leader looking for the next step in their career. Music is a popular subject and the faculty has the freedom to innovate and inspire our students through faculty centred leadership. We are looking for someone who will establish inclusive extra-curricular music clubs/groups including vocal groups and a staff choir and also produce a high-quality musical concert at least annually.
