Job Summary
Welcome to the brand new Paediatric Psychiatric Liaison Team offering an exciting Band 7 Clinical Lead opportunity for candidates with significant experience of working with Children and Young People. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate collective leadership to work within the multi-disciplinary team, and to work closely with the senior management team.
As a clinical lead, you will be expected to provide support, advice and supervision to the team and ensure operational efficiency of clinical pathways. The clinical lead will be expected to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and knowledge in working with service users covering a wide age range of input for those aged up to 18 years of age.
The successful post holder will be expected to demonstrate strong commitment to high quality client care, good organisational skills and be able to demonstrate prioritisation of workload. Ensuring the service is safe, effective, and responsive.
Main duties of the job

Education and Qualification Essential
1. Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Registered Learning Disability Nurse (as appropriate) or equivalent relevant professional qualification
2. Mentorship Qualification
3. Relevant Clinical Training and post graduate Qualification

1. Significant experience of working with Children and Young People
Skills and competencies Essential
1. Excellent communication skills and liaison skills.

Experience Essential
1. 3 years post qualification experience
2. Knowledge & Experience of the Recovery Model.
3. Proven track record of providing professional leadership within clinical services.

6. Casework Management.
7. Facilitation of Personal Development Planning in others.
8. Experience of CBU based Model of Care Provision.
9. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team using the CBU based approach.
