The Ground Network Services (GNS) agents support the execution of the GNS by managing daily truck operations and managing the smooth flow of GNS shipments through the network. Various work schedules may be required for this position, including late afternoon and evening, nights, weekends and holidays. This position is for night and day shift 18:00 - 06:00 / 06:00 - 18:00 4 on 4 off pattern. Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities - Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow - Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system - Optimizing route planning and truck utilization - Interact with our customers (internal and external) in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards. - Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers - Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations. - Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity - Ensure all standard operating procedures in place - Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures - Timely communication - Escalation of problems to Management when necessary - Adhere to the company's 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humour, and Visionary. Skills: - 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience prefered - Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results. - Pro-active, strong organizational skills - Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) - Fluent in English Behaviours: - Positive and willing to help attitude This position is for night and day shift 18:00 - 06:00 / 06:00 - 18:00 4on 4off pattern.
