Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in daily nursery activities, including play, learning, and mealtimes.
• Help plan and deliver activities supporting children's growth.
• Ensure children's safety, health, and well-being.
• Build positive relationships with children, encouraging confidence and independence.
• Work with nursery staff and teachers to foster a supportive environment.
• Help prepare and tidy the nursery or classroom.
• Observe and monitor children's progress, contributing to records and reports.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about their child's development.
Requirements:
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
• Caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children's development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous.
• Relevant childcare qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
