The Wakefield 0-19 Service has an exciting opportunity for the position of 5-19 Clinical Lead.
This role is integral to the 0-19 Service, responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to the 5-19 team, ensuring delivery of excellence in clinical practice through evidence-based interventions. The post holder will ensure the delivery of a high-quality support, care, and intervention service, with appropriate clinical supervision.
The post holder will support the leadership team in developing and implementing strategic plans, monitoring key outcomes through regular evaluation, and representing the 0-19 Service at key partnership meetings.
The post holder is required to maintain and manage a reduced clinical caseload to demonstrate ongoing clinical competency.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will:
1. Be accountable for delivering effective, well-coordinated, and collaborative services for children, young people, and their families through high-quality role modeling and practice development.
2. Provide reports with appropriate information, action plans, and evaluations of outcomes for the Service, aligning with local and national strategic priorities.
3. Demonstrate high clinical effectiveness by utilizing evidence-based practices and outcome measures, ensuring these are embedded across the workforce.
4. Coordinate, lead, and facilitate care programs and specific projects within the Service to ensure seamless service provision for children, young people, and their families.
5. Support the resolution of complaints following local policies and ensure staff understand the complaints policy.

Person specification
* Current professional registration with a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Degree (HV or SN).
* Experience in 0-19 Service delivery or relevant specialist knowledge working with children and families, supported by theory and experience.
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
* Certificate in teaching & assessing or mentorship relevant to your profession.
* Significant experience working collaboratively with children and young people.
* Experience leading teams in health services for children, young people, and families, demonstrating high relationship skills.
* Experience in clinical supervision facilitation.

You must hold appropriate UK professional registration.
