Assistant Business Information Analyst Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £41,339 to 43,514 per year 35 hours per week (Part time hours or job share considered) We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Business Information Analyst to join our Business Information team who are responsible for the delivery of a high quality, accurate and relevant information service to a wide variety of internal and external customers. The team broadly falls into four key areas covering operational performance indicators, creation of financial reports, report development and master data management. This role will be responsible for the production of regular key performance indicators and the provision of ad hoc data analysis in order to investigate and provide insight in to emerging business challenges and opportunities. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role in an organisation of similar scale and complexity, with experience in dealing with different internal customers. The role is currently based at Worcester with a balance of home and office working due to current restrictions. The role of Assistant Business Information Analyst will include: Assisting the Business Information team in delivering high quality and cost-effective services to enable the Group to perform at consistently high levels Producing reports on internal and external data and making recommendations based on the analysis to support decision making and business planning Developing an effective network of key contacts in order to support the efficient completion of tasks Support the design, implementation and maintenance of practical business process models that enable the Group to maximise operational efficiencies Assisting the Business Information team in contributing towards special programmes and projects Skills and experiences: Recent experience of undertaking a similar role is essential Proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work loads Some experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions Proven experience in handling, interrogating and reconciling large volumes of data Excellent understanding of written and spoken English Experience in using Microsoft packages including Excel and Word Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential Why work for us?
