CNC Miller – Precision Engineering for Classic Sports Cars
Our client, a specialist in restoring and repairing classic sports cars, is looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their passionate team on a permanent basis. Based in a picturesque rural location in Oxfordshire, this is a fantastic opportunity for a precision engineer with an interest in classic cars to work in a close-knit and dedicated environment.
The Role: CNC Miller
As a CNC Programmer Setter Operator, you will be responsible for machining high-quality components for classic sports cars. You will be working on low-volume, high-precision parts, ensuring accuracy and craftsmanship in every detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming, setting, and operating 4-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings.
Conducting quality checks on machined parts using micrometres and callipers.
Following strict health & safety procedures in a workshop environment.
Occasionally using manual milling machines as required.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (4-axis).
Proficiency in using Heidenhain controls and manual milling machines.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to precision engineering.
Own transport and a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location.
Full right to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available.
