To support our growth, we are seeking to appoint a new Lecturer in Nursing within the Department of Nursing and Community Health. This department offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and CPD programmes and modules in Nursing and Public Health.
As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will focus on providing high-quality learning and teaching underpinned by scholarly activity. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with the NMC, along with evidence of continuing professional development. A qualification and experience in advanced practice, district nursing, or health visiting is desirable. A PVG will be required for this role.
Lecturers are expected to contribute to the delivery and assessment of existing modules, supervision, and enhancement of the student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Prior experience of supporting student learning, teaching, and assessment in higher education and/or practice settings is essential. Experience of e-learning and online environments is also desired. A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable.
