Job Title: RF Team Lead

About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of engineers, delivering cutting-edge RF designs for complex defence projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that these projects meet rigorous standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of work packages, providing day-to-day leadership to drive high performance and team cohesion.
* Deliver complex RF designs across a broad frequency range (30MHz to 30GHz), with hands-on experience in designing and testing components such as LNA Amplifiers, High Power Amplifiers, filters, oscillators, modulators, and more.
* Use advanced design tools (like Microwave Office and HFSS) for RF and antenna design, while ensuring robust layout and manufacturing readiness.
* Lead both the technical and functional aspects of the team, inspiring colleagues and pushing for excellence.
* Manage and coordinate project tasks, ensuring on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery with tools like Excel, P6, or MS Project.
Requirements:
* A proven track record in RF design at the component level, and hands-on expertise with RF circuit design across a wide frequency spectrum.
* Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams in a cross-functional environment.
* A comprehensive understanding of modern Radio Transceiver Systems, including digital, analogue, and power supply design.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including design for manufacture and test.
* Practical project management experience that keeps deliverables on track.
