Karen shares her home with her mum and her cats. Karen requires support with her daily living tasks ie, washing, choosing clothing, meal preparation, household tasks and caring for her cat. Karen has her own mobility car. Due to the insurance group for Karens vehicle staff will be required to hold a valid driving license and be over the age of 25. Staff use the car to support Karen to attend her Day Centre and to visit her family. Karen loves music and singing. Karens other interests include attending local clubs for those with additional needs, and socialising at her local pub. Karen also likes to go for long drives in her car and listening to her music. Our service aim is to ensure the people we support live a happy and healthy life filled with opportunities to fulfil their potential and aspirations. Staff will support and encourage individuals to maximize their capabilities and learn new skills.This is a permanent part time post offering 35 hours per week.Working pattern will vary depending on which service you are assigned to. Typical shifts would include: Early shifts (mornings), late shifts (afternoons/evenings), day shifts & sleepover shifts. Please note we manage shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £12.00 and can also offer extra earning potential. Nightshifts are paid at £12.90 from 11pm - 7am.
