Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and effective operation of our machinery and vehicles, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
1. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on various types of vehicles.
2. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
3. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other critical components.
4. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
7. Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
3. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
5. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics are preferred but not essential.
7. A valid driving licence is advantageous.
