Location: Sedbergh School
Contract Type: Fixed-term (1 academic year); Full-time; Residential

Salary: Competitive
Start date: August 2025

Sedbergh School are seeking to appoint several Graduate Resident Assistants (Sports) to assist with the delivery of the school’s outstanding sporting provision. This post is ideally suited to outstanding graduate or placement students who have played or coached Rugby, Hockey, Netball or Cricket to a good level and who would like to gain more experience working within a school sporting environment. The ideal candidates would have the ability to challenge and develop our most able athletes within the school through individual and small group coaching, as well as nurture and develop teams across all age and ability groups within the school.
Whilst this role is seeking individuals with a sporting specialism in one of our key sports (Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Cricket), the ability to contribute to multiple sports within our sports programme, or the Strength and Conditioning provision is advantageous. Sedbergh is a full boarding school with a thriving sports programme, but also excellent pastoral care within the boarding community, which our graduate assistants are key contributors to.
Alongside a competitive salary, Sedbergh School can offer an attractive benefits package, which includes free accommodation and all meals during term time and free use of our swimming pool and state of the art gym (outside pupil usage).
