Evertz, a leading solutions provider for media broadcasting, requires an efficient Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. This role requires a highly focused individual used to meeting deadlines.
The individual we are looking for should be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise activities
2. Good verbal and written English communication skills
3. Basic understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
4. Would hold or be working towards an AAT certificate or related accountancy qualification
5. Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometimes implement own processes
6. Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
As part of the Evertz UK finance team you will be responsible for our UK and Overseas offices:
1. Entering purchase invoices onto the Sage
2. Reviewing all purchases for appropriate authorisation
3. Processing all employee expense claims
4. Preparing supplier and expenses payment runs via BACS
5. Managing petty cash transactions
6. Reconciling Petty Cash
7. Reconciling all supplier accounts
8. Administering direct debit and standing order agreements with the suppliers
9. Other finance related duties as required
