The company is a leading provider of high quality Aviation component maintenance, manufacture and design, renowned for their commitment to innovation, excellence and safety. Ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance, quality and safety across all operations. Required to be acceptable to the UK CAA and EASA as a nominated post holder.
Responsibilities include:
1. Development and maintenance of the Company Quality System policies and procedures
2. Maintaining the independence of the quality department/s ensuring compliance with EASA Part 145
3. Maintaining present knowledge of EASA Part 145/147, Part M and Part 21, Subpart G and SMS Risk based management
4. Negotiating with the CAA, EASA, FAA and other airworthiness authorities on behalf of the Company
5. Maintaining and management of the Company MOE, POE and QMS
6. Management of the Company Quality Audit programme
7. Acting as a focal point for all communication with the NAA's in respect to quality and certification matters
Ideal candidate's profile:
1. Previous Quality Manager experience within a busy component MRO facility
2. Experience in management and quality control/quality assurance activities of aircraft maintenance and repair organisations
3. Successful completion of a Quality System Course i.e. Auditor/Lead Auditor course
4. Thorough knowledge of International and National Civil Aviation legislation, EASA, FAA & TCAA
5. A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office packages
