About the role:
This is a brilliant opportunity to join our ICT Team at Harbour. The ICT Team currently work to a hybrid model with a minimum of two days per week on site.
The key purpose of this role is to ensure that all Application Systems infrastructure and services are fully functional, highly available, up to date, and fit for purpose.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of Harbour’s Application Systems infrastructure, Core Applications, and Cloud-based services for new and planned business solutions.
The role involves managing a diverse set of systems and technologies and plays a crucial role in maintaining the security, availability, and performance of the Core Business systems. You will have responsibility for proposing solutions for system deployments, project managing changes to the Core Systems, as well as conducting/managing major installations and upgrades.
You will also support the Group ICT and Business Transformation Manager with the day-to-day routines of the new business solution and the reporting and documentation requirements of embedding the new business system.
In addition, using the knowledge and practical understanding you gain from working with the Core System, you will be responsible for the design of backend reports required by the Group ICT manager and front-end reports required by the managers and colleagues.
About you:
You must have as a minimum a Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
You must have a considerable track record of working effectively in a permanent Applications Systems Administration role with a diverse range of hardware and software.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).
There are company-wide projects that are planned to be delivered over the next 12–18 months and you will be able to manage Business Projects to improve the structure and security of the business systems/applications.
