Reporting directly to our IT Programme Manager, you will support our bespoke award-winning IT system Evolve, and it is a fundamental role to our growth and success.
Responsibilities
As an IT Technical Project Manager, you will be pivotal in planning, organising, and coordinating small/large projects or programmes. You will involve direct client interaction and ensure all IT projects are managed from conception to completion to the highest quality standard on-time and within budget. You will maintain an enterprise view of all IT activity to support strategic, tactical, and operational priorities for enabling informed decisions.
The Project Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Define project scope, goals, and objectives; develop detailed IT plans; manage and coordinate IT teams; ensure collaboration and resolve conflicts.
2. Provide progress reports and updates on IT changes, working closely with the Business Change team to ensure collaboration and understanding.
3. Identify and mitigate risks, estimate costs, establish budgets, monitor spending, and maintain efficiency.
4. Maintain transparent communication with clients and stakeholders, ensure deliverables meet standards, and govern scope changes in accordance with Solus change control.
5. Live agile values and principles, work closely with the business to understand delivery impacts, and ensure processes are documented and followed.
Qualifications
1. Strong understanding of Agile Project Management and Scrum framework.
2. Extensive experience in IT Project Management.
3. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
4. Previous working experience with DevOps environment/culture.
5. Experience with traditional project management methodologies.
6. Project Management qualification, such as Prince 2 / APM or equivalent.
