About The Role
At AO Recycling, we maximize value from the UK's discarded electrical and electronic equipment.
Our Telford, Shropshire site uses state-of-the-art technology to process items more efficiently than any other UK site.
We’re growing, offering many opportunities to develop and innovate. If you're an energetic, hands-on professional, this is the place for you!. We run a profitable business while doing the right thing for the environment.
Aligned with our core value of delivering excellence, the Production Manager will lead Shift Coordinators, Supervisors, and Operatives to exceed KPIs. They’ll develop the team by providing direction, support, coaching, and mentoring, ensuring future leaders are nurtured and employees retained, all while achieving budgetary KPIs.
The Production Manager must ensure top quality and performance, prioritise health and safety, environmental compliance, and employee welfare. Adapting to the changing dynamic retail sector, the plant must be managed to ensure flexibility and capability to move and flow with the changing patterns of volume.
The Production Manager will collaborate closely with all departments (transport, offload, SHEQ, HR, etc.) to exceed performance targets and support the entire value chain. At AO, we deliver quickly and efficiently.

You will create and manage a CI program to continuously improve productivity, proving past success in this area. You'll coach managers and staff to foster a CI culture, focusing on team needs while acting consistently and decisively.
