As the HR Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all HR related queries and create a pro-active HR department, leading from the front.

Description
1. Manage all Employee Relations Casework.
2. Assess training needs and create and implement appropriate training programmes.
3. Manage all Employee Engagement initiatives.
4. Oversee the site onboarding process, including induction and new starter documentation such as Contracts of Employment, references, and obtaining copies of any relevant training documents.
5. Liaise with payroll to set up relevant payments.
6. Oversee and manage salary benchmarking.
7. Ensure annual appraisals are carried out.
8. Manage employee sick absence, ensuring return-to-work interviews are conducted.
9. Monitor long-term absence and involve the Occupational Health team when necessary.
10. Promote employee well-being through initiatives to engage employees.
11. Manage the WorkDay HR platform, ensuring records are kept up to date.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills. Proactive with organization and planning skills, the ability to influence and motivate peers and external stakeholders, a strategic thinker with good decision-making skills, and a flexible approach to working practices. You will also be CIPD qualified, ideally with a manufacturing background (minimum 3 years), and possess strong up-to-date knowledge and understanding of UK employment law.
Job Offer
Competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000, depending on experience, with excellent benefits. A chance to work part-time with flexible hours (20 hours per week).
