We’re looking for a talented, passionate individual to fill the role of Global People Experience and Internal Communications Specialist at Costa Coffee. You’ll be a key player in supporting our team members feel informed, connected, and engaged in their life at work through storytelling, strategic communications, employee listening and engagement initiatives. What you’ll do Business Partnering: Be a business partner on employee listening, special initiatives, projects, and change programmes advising, enabling, curating, and connecting the dots across messaging, projects, campaigns, and delivery to drive engagement and advocacy of our team members with our brand, our product, and core parts of the business. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, confidently and consistently managing expectations, providing updates on project progress, highlighting any risks/challenges, and coming with solutions. Understand the needs of different groups and use it to influence decisions on approaches. People Listening: Continue developing the people listening expertise in the team, shaping and driving our people listening strategy, working in close collaboration with key stakeholders to establish a data-driven approach to our people experience agenda. Managing our employee engagement surveys, analysing insights, and driving meaningful action plans to ensure continuous improvement in engagement and retention. Build and share insightful reports to drive conversations that lead to the creation and implementation of engagement action plans. Own new joiner and leaver feedback and work with stakeholders to address improvements. People Experience: Collaborate and support connecting individuals and teams with our brand and purpose. Lead engagement initiatives that enhance employee advocacy and create a positive and inclusive culture. Support recognition programs and identify opportunities to enhance these to support a positive and celebratory culture. Who you are The right candidate for the role is an outstanding communicator with persuasive storytelling abilities with a passion for people data who can gain the trust of team members at all levels, bringing the following qualities to this role: A proven track record of managing global internal communications in a complex organisation with several internal stakeholders. Strong storytelling skills to create compelling narratives to team members across the globe Working knowledge of communications channels for engagement with different audience groups (Sharepoint, Mailchimp, Poppulo, M365) Working knowledge of employee listening tools, like VivaGlint, Peakon, CultureAmp, or other. Experience leading the end-to-end delivery of employee listening surveys and pulses, from platform setup to stakeholder engagement, to communications. A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising a variety of tasks while working to deadlines and budgets. A self-starter with high levels of personal self-motivation, a can-do attitude and contagious energy to deliver results, playing your part to make it happen A commitment to your own professional development and that of others, with Interest and curiosity in staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in internal communications (and beyond).
