Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Service Delivery at Ailsa Hospital.
What you will do:
The Head of Service Delivery role has responsibility for the Digital Service Desk, Asset Management, Change Management, and incident/Problem Management. Within NHS Ayrshire and Arran, Digital Services uses technology to improve health and care and to support staff to work to the best of their abilities. We help health and care professionals deliver the best possible care by providing critical IT services that are safe, fast, and reliable. We provide a digital environment that supports and transforms the way our staff work, wherever they are, underpinned by systems that are secure, performant, resilient, and available. Through the effective use of digital solutions, we support service reform and deliver cost-effective digital services to drive transformational change, in particular to support Caring for Ayrshire, The national Digital Health and Care Strategy and the delivery of effective, efficient, and safe patient care.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. Educated to master's level or equivalent, with demonstrable senior management experience within a large complex organization, preferably within the NHS or Public Sector.
2. Management training and development/Record of Continuous Professional Development.
3. Demonstrable senior management experience, including experience within a large and complex organization.
4. Track record of successful operational IT service delivery within a large, complex organization.
Hours: 37 per week
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership: UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
