Oxford Chamber Music Festival (OCMF) is a multi-disciplinary organization that brings together musicians, visual artists, writers and educators for a week-long programme of musical activities and workshops in and around Oxford. The Oxford Chamber Music Foundation, founded in 2000, aims to promote chamber music events each autumn, support contemporary composition, and engage new and younger audiences through education and community programmes. OCMF is a registered charity dedicated to breaking down barriers between different music genres and bringing world class music to as many people as possible.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Festival Manager at Oxford Chamber Music Festival. The Festival Manager will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the annual autumn chamber music events, supporting educational programs, and managing special projects. This role will involve a mix of on-site work in Oxford and remote work from home. Passion for the arts and music is essential.
Qualifications
* Event planning, project management, and organizational skills
* Experience in arts administration or cultural event management
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Knowledge of classical music and chamber music preferred
* Marketing and promotional skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software
* Bachelor's degree in Arts Management, Music, or related field
