What ASEND Tuition Is
We are looking for inspirational tutors to support children and young people with SEND in Reading. We support pupils with SEND who are not attending school for a number of reasons including Mental Health issues, or lack of a suitable school place. We aim to prepare them for a return to mainstream or special school.

Pay: £30 - 38 per hour

Contract: Part-time
Working hours: 2 hours per day, 2 days per week
About the role
We are looking for a tutor to support a 15-year-old boy with his academics. Our pupil has some medical needs and is a situational mute so he communicates non-verbally. He is an anxious young man who would benefit from a tutor who can help ease his anxieties and develop his confidence. He’s an intelligent young person who likes maths and building PCs. He also enjoys playing football and is an animal lover - he particularly likes dogs a lot. We would love to find someone who shares some of his interests to incorporate these into his learning and make it more engaging for him.
Our pupil is currently on roll to complete his English and Maths GCSEs, so a tutor who is comfortable teaching at this level would be essential.
