The Role:
As an Enrolment and Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the College’s enrolment processes and executing marketing activities to attract and engage prospective students. You will also manage digital marketing efforts and social media channels to promote the College’s courses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Website and social media: Update, maintain, and promote the College website, social media channels, and other platforms to ensure content is relevant, engaging, and up-to-date.
2. Publicity Materials: Support the production of marketing materials to showcase the College’s offerings effectively.
3. Enrolment Support: Handle enquiries, process enrolments, and assist with conversion campaigns to turn applications into confirmed bookings.
4. Digital Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to grow online presence and engagement, ensuring adherence to SEO best practices.
5. Proactive Outreach: Identify and engage with new potential students to maximise enrolment opportunities.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Educated to degree level (Marketing or Business degree desirable).
2. Proven experience in marketing roles, particularly with a focus on digital marketing and social media strategy.
3. Practical experience working within a marketing environment.
4. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
5. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with database systems, content management software, and email marketing tools.
6. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva.
7. Familiarity with the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) sector is advantageous but not essential.
8. Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment.
9. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
10. Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
11. Flexible and collaborative team player.
Conditions:
Conditions of service include membership of the College Pension Scheme.
Salary: Salary up to £23,810 per year (pro-rata) + 28 days holiday inclusive of 8 bank holidays.
Starting Date: 3rd March 2025
8 month contract with sessional work November/December/January
Working hours - Monday - Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
On site role only
Ability to commute reliably (Thanet area).
The successful candidate must have indefinite leave to remain and work in the UK, as we are unable to provide sponsorship.
