The role of the Technical Support Engineer – Fixing Systems will involve:
* Providing technical support for a high-end range of manufactured fixing systems
* Offering on-site engineering support and consultations on product usage
* Conducting site testing of various anchor systems
* Producing site reports to the required standard and within a timely manner
* Assisting the sales team to secure product specifications
* Liaising with project engineers to identify new opportunities for targeting clients on site
* Addressing fixing enquiries and providing excellent technical support
* Assisting in the preparation of training seminars and CPD presentations
* Building and developing working relationships with contractors and engineers
* Offering technical support to clients, distributors, and the sales team
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Engineer – Fixing Systems with:
* Technical engineering experience within the construction industry
* Experience dealing with M&E contractors, M&E consultants, framework specialist building envelope contractors, architects, main contractors, or sub-contractors
* A degree/HND level education in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering
* A willingness to consider a graduate with no working experience
* Technical mindset with the ability to overcome technical queries
* Ability to learn and develop
* Commercially astute, professional, organized, and a logical thinker
* Positive, professional, and customer service-oriented
