Role Overview
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchase Ledger department, ensuring smooth processing of supplier accounts. Your responsibilities will include invoice processing, statement reconciliations, handling queries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing and uploading invoices and credit notes
* Matching purchase orders to invoices and verifying rates
* Handling and resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams
* Producing supplier statement reconciliations
* Reviewing month-end payment runs
* Raising and allocating ad-hoc payments
* Managing supplier accounts and ensuring smooth financial transactions
* Handling telephone inquiries and completing related administrative tasks
