Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Subsurface Document/IM Lead – STAFF, based in Aberdeen.
Our ideal candidate will currently be sitting at senior/supervisory or feel like they want to move to the next step of supervising a team, have a good working understanding of G&G/geoscience as well as, ideally IM/Documentation. You will hold project management accreditation, be comfortable reporting to the senior management team and overseeing a team of approximately 7 people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a leadership role within the Information Management Department, reporting to the Information Centre Team Leader. Responsible for leading the Management of Well Information Project and managing the subsurface data management team.
This role is responsible for supporting regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives in support of IM best practice, working in compliance with Company policies and procedures under the guidance of the Information Centre Team Leader.
Take accountability for the successful delivery of the Management of Well Information Project and all IM services for G&G activities, and joint accountability for the success of all International Division G&G and DCWS projects and activities.
Ensure all projects are led through IM best practice processes including annual budgeting, effective cost reporting, robust quality management, risk management, overall project planning & milestones, leading scenario planning, compiling resource profiles, agreeing project objectives and metrics, maintaining robust management of change, and ensuring an effective evaluation phase(s) is conducted so learnings can be taken forward.
REQUIREMENTS:
Project Management Qualification or working towards accreditation with a recognised body, i.e., APM or PMI.
Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex multi-year projects and scopes of work.
Demonstrated knowledge in areas of IM and Subsurface Data Management, e.g., understanding of regulatory requirements, quality management, managing subsurface data and documentation, developing robust processes and workflows to meet project needs, governance of company procedures both internally and externally.
Competency in risk assessment and mitigation at project level.
Effective written communication and presentations to Senior Management Team and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to create an empowered team, setting clear expectations and ensuring the team takes accountability for delivery.
Demonstrated people management skills – performance management, resource planning, and recruitment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
