Job Title: Fire Safety Technical Supervisor Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: West Brom - WS10 8JB Salary - £33,400-£41,800 ( £750 Car Allowance) per annum Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time (37 hours per week) About the role We are currently recruiting for a Fire Safety Technical Supervisor to join our team in West Bromwich. As Fire Safety Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for safeguarding people`s lives and protecting property by advising, promoting, planning, formulating, implementing and assisting activities and arrangements that take care of specific fire and life safety systems. You will be responsible for the management and supervision of a team of Building Safety Officers. This includes the completion of specialist fire and building safety checks, such as technical fire door inspection, alarm testing and the completion of any required fire safety remedial actions arising from Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs). You will provide support to teams across the business to ensure that all requirements relating to building safety are effectively managed, communicated and delivered. You will be part of a cohesive and supportive team of building safety professionals in an organisation that values all aspects of property safety. About you This role will require you to have Level 4 Fire Safety certificate or HNC/ D in a Building related subject or qualification by experience. NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety & Risk Managementwould be beneficial but is not essential. You will be able to Manage difficult conversations and conflict effectively. Experience of supporting the continuous improvement of fire safety throughout the business through the creation of initiatives, education, and completion of identified improvements. You will be able to demonstrable use of Analytical tools such as Excel and Power BI. This includes the ability to use computerised systems, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, power point to intermediate level. Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role.
